LOCATION & DESCRIPTION

The St. George Three Corners Resort is situated on the Um el Sid hill, a plateau between Na'ama bay and the old City Centre. Those lively shopping and nightlife centres are about 15 minutes drive away, the International Airport 17 km .

The site of Sharm el Sheikh shows up as early as 1762 on a Spanish map, but until about 1968, it was nothing more than a quiet fishing community. However, in recent years, Sharm el Sheikh has become multi-cultural and cosmopolitan and is one of Egypt 's best known and most visited beach resorts.

Sharm el Sheikh is situated at the southern extremity of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt , a land of towering mountains, verdant oases and flat desert expanses that meet the clear waters of the Red Sea at the golden beaches of the "Red Sea Riviera". The area known as Sharm el Sheikh reaches from Nabq to Na'ama Bay to Ras um Sid and Sharm " Old Town ".

Developed for its spectacular location, Sharm El Sheikh is world-famous for its coral and aquatic wildlife with magnificent reefs just offshore, considered to be among the top five diving and snorkelling sites in the world. Sharm el Sheikh is home to some of the world's greatest reef dives, Shark and Yolanda reef, in the Red Sea's Ras Mohammed National Park .

Name a water sport and it can almost certainly be found here, but there is also every other activity from championship golf to four wheeling safari trips, go cart tracts, horseback riding, excursions to the evocative landscape of the Sinai Peninsula, trips into the desert at dusk to dining out under starlit skies.

There is more to Sharm, however, than the beaches, sea and landscape. It is a well developed area that almost seems more like a European resort than Egyptian, with refined facilities and amenities. At the same time, this stunning coastal town has a very strong nightlife heart, offering great clubbing and excellent dining , quickly becoming one of the busiest and liveliest towns of the Red Sea Riviera. In the evening, Sharm takes on almost a Las Vegas flavour with, all along the boardwalk between the hotels and the sea, various types and styles of floorshows, bands, both Arabic and Western, and other entertainment. It's a charming holiday world as one walks along the boardwalk, hearing a dozen or more languages from every part of the world.

The St. George Three Corners Resort is situated on the Um el Sid hill, a plateau 5 km to the south west of Na'ama Bay, and about 12 km from the international airport of Sharm El Sheikh. The Ras Umm Sid area of Sharm which is probably the second most popular area for development after Na'ama Bay. In a 4 -5 km radius of the hotel, on the plateau, you have a go kart track, Dolphinella dolphin show, Alfa Leila Oriental show complex with bazaar, cafes, banks and spread out more shops, hotels, and dive centres.

ACCOMMODATION

The 262 rooms of St. George Three Corners Resort are spread out over a two stage architecture built around two freshwater swimming pools. No less than 144 rooms have a view on the pools.
All rooms are elegant retreats and decorated to the highest standard. They all have private shower, AC, satellite TV, radio, IDD telephone, fridge, balcony or terrace with views on the pools, the garden or surroundings.
The St. George Resort offers large possibilities for families going from connected rooms to Grand Family rooms with a large bed, a sofa bed and two single beds. There is also a small number of rooms specially equipped for disabled people.

FACILITIES

An architecture of two stages encircles gracefully the two freshwater swimming pools each with a separate children's pool. All are heated in winter. Enjoy also the many terraces, where the sun is always shining, or have a sip at one of our pool bars. And of course chaises longue, umbrellas and towels are available free of charge for hotel residents.

Therefore the Trixie Kids Club offers a fantastic range of fun filled activities and entertainment to occupying them the whole day or at their leisure. Outdoors, there are safety-approved playgrounds set in fields or woods, wading pools, and a full program of activities for children. Indoors, the resort is also well equipped for young guests. They provide everything children and parents need, from a playroom full of toys and games to special kids' menus.
Our Main Restaurant with its open air extension serves our daily buffet breakfast and dinner. In the evening don't miss our Chez Pascal restaurant: enjoy a gourmet meal, sitting on the large terrace with a splendid view over the swimming pool area. In between of course, our Pool Bars serves drinks or you can find some silence or read a book in the Lobby Bar.
Guests also can access a private beach in the bay of Sharm el Maya , the original old town area of Sharm, a 5 minutes drive with our regular shuttle bus. The picturesque bay is a natural harbour and home to many small boats. The beautiful sandy beach has a profusion of palm trees providing natural shade for the sun loungers. There you are free to play a game of volleyball or to have a splash in the unbelievable clear water of the Red Sea .

The Three Corners St. George Resort has a enclosed parking lot at the disposal of our guests. The parking areas are located at the front of the hotel with a guarded access.
