LOCATION & DESCRIPTION

For almost three decades, Kaoud Hotel Sporting has been one of Alexandria’s most famous hotels.  The hotel has been very recently renovated and upgraded.  It currently offers 100 rooms and suites, most of which have a direct view on the sea.  Though the hotel is officially registered as a three-star hotel, and mainly thanks to the recent upgrading, it can be compared to 4-star and 5-star hotels when it comes to the service, facilities and expertise of its staff.  The only solid proof that Kaoud Hotel is indeed a three-star hotel is the price you pay for the room.

Kaoud Sporting Hotel is located in Sporting which is one of the most beautiful areas of the famous seaside city of Alexandria.  The hotel overlooks the sea directly and offers some breath-taking views from the comfort of the terraces in the far majority of rooms.

The hotel is right within the city of Alexandria and within short driving distances from all the major attractions and city amenities.

Our suites are unique in their design and offer more privacy and space than usual suites.  The entrance to a typical Suite at Kaoud Hotel starts with an outer door, leading to a small corridor and then two inner doors, each of which opens to a room.  Each of these inner doors has a separate key; these same keys open the outer door.  This way you can simply leave the inner doors unlocked and operate only one key to open the main door.  In other words, our suite are more like 2-room apartments, each fitted with a large bathroom and a terrace.

DINING

Kaoud Hotel has two restaurants and a Cafè where you can enjoy the delicacies of Egyptian, Alexandrian and international cuisine.

Located on the ground floor, close to the lobby.  At the Rababa Coffee you have the possibility to choose from over 70 drinks and snacks, presented in an elegant menu in both English and Arabic.  This is also where you can enjoy the experience of the famous Egyptian Shisha (water pipe).  During the summer season, Rababa Cafè extends outdoors where you have a direct view of the sea while enjoying the breeze. 

Located on the first floor with a direct view of the sea thanks to the large windows all around.  This is where breakfast is served and where occasional meals, any time of the day, can be enjoyed in a cosy atmosphere.  Kaoud Restaurant can accommodate up to 80 people.

This is one of the hotel’s main sources of pride.  Haroon El-Rasheed is a tastefully furnished, first-class restaurant situated on the top floor, with a stunning view of the sea all around it.  Apart from the beauty surrounding you in Haroon El-Rasheed, you will most definitely find the menu items both varied and inviting.  The menu is not limited only to Egyptian cuisine; it also offers a large choice of sea food and international dishes.
